Shanxi province, an ancient cradle of Chinese civilization, holds China's most magnificent architectural codes. From towering Buddhist temples to exquisite folk dwellings, every structure is a living museum, with each visit starting a dialogue with history.
This 5-episode micro-documentary series, Spokesperson for Ancient Buildings, explores the charm of ancient buildings through a unique cultural lens. Six spokespersons will guide viewers on a journey through time, introducing the world to Shanxi's ancient structures.
In the second episode, "I opened a blind box in Zezhou", we join two international students, Ryan Michael and Gojayeva Bagul from Shanxi University, to explore Zezhou's ancient architectural treasures, discover ancient castles and trees, and experience the charm of old villages and towns.
