North China's Shanxi province is taking significant steps to promote the innovative development of digital trade by supporting high-quality development in key areas of digital trade, optimizing the business environment, fostering international exchange and cooperation, and strengthening the foundation for digital trade growth.

Shanxi will focus on digital media, publishing, entertainment, film, and animation trade to establish internationally competitive digital culture and entertainment brands. The province will integrate with the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River, and Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area ecosystems. It will promote collaboration among digital platforms, parks, and enterprises, accelerating the establishment of a new model for regional integration in digital trade.

Shanxi will further develop a service trade brand and conduct international promotional activities for its digital trade brand to promote international exchange and cooperation. The province will employ key domestic and international exhibition platforms, such as the China International Fair for Trade in Services, the Global Digital Trade Expo, and Japan IT Week, to help digital trade enterprises expand into international markets.

The province will continue improving 5G network coverage and enhancing signal quality while building a provincial integrated computing power scheduling and monitoring platform to optimize the computing power structure and increase the supply of intelligent computing resources.
