Shanxi athlete Su Yiming wins silver at FIS Championships

Shanxi athlete Su Yiming won silver with a score of 85.07 during the men's snowboard slopestyle finals on March 21 at the FIS Snowboarding and Freestyle Ski World Championships in Switzerland.
This marks his first World Championship medal and the first slopestyle medal for China in World Championship history.
The competition was fierce during the qualification rounds on March 19. Su was first to compete in the first group. He scored 86.75 points in his first run and an impressive 94.75 points in his second, with a flawless performance, securing the top position and advancing to the finals.
In the finals, Su scored 85.07 points in his first run, temporarily placing him in the lead. In the second run, Su continued to push his limits, executing the only 1980 trick of the event, earning 83.95 points.
Su ultimately secured silver with his first-run score. Canadian Liam Brearley won gold, and American Oliver Martin took home bronze.
