Multiple healthcare-related projects in North China's Shanxi province have been selected for the list of "National Excellent 5G + Healthcare Application Pilot Projects and Projects which have Passed Acceptance " released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

A project titled "Enhancing Service Capabilities of County-level Medical Groups in Shanxi Province Using 5G Technology", submitted by the Shanxi Digital Health Guidance Center, has been included in the list and honored as a national excellent project.

Projects such as "Utilizing a 5G-Based Multidisciplinary Remote Diagnosis and Treatment Platform for Difficult Diseases in the Context of Tiered Medical System within Medical Alliances" from Shanxi Provincial People's Hospital, "Grassroots Healthcare Institution Eye Health Intelligent Management Platform" from Yuncheng Eye Hospital, and "5G Medical Cloud VR Platform" from the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University were also included.

These projects focus on key fields such as remote diagnosis, remote treatment, and health management, fully demonstrating the extensive application and innovative practices of 5G technology in the healthcare sector. For instance, the project from Shanxi Provincial People's Hospital has utilized 5G technology to achieve remote multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment for difficult diseases, significantly enhancing the efficiency of medical resource utilization.
