AEO certification leads Shanxi enterprises to expand global markets
Updated: 2025-02-08
AEO certification emerged as a powerful force in 2024, propelling numerous Shanxi enterprises toward new heights in foreign trade.
The Chinese AEO certification has signed mutual recognition agreements with economic entities such as the European Union and Singapore. This enables Chinese AEO-certified enterprises to enjoy mutual recognition facilitation from customs in 29 economies and 55 countries and regions.
In 2024, Yuncheng Customs assisted four Shanxi enterprises, including Shanxi Haomei Fruits and Vegetables Co and Shanxi Regal Metal New Materials Co, in clinching the prestigious AEO certification, bringing the total number of advanced certified enterprises in Yuncheng to five. These five AEO enterprises in Yuncheng account for a quarter of the city's total import and export value.
AEO certification is a testament to a company's strength and a leap in brand value. Following its certification, Shanxi Haomei Fruits and Vegetables Co took a step towards internationalization by establishing its own trade department, enabling self-operated exports.
Participating in exhibitions like the Asia Fruit Logistica in Hong Kong, the company directly engaged with foreign customers, exporting Linyi apples to over 10 countries, including Bangladesh, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Russia, significantly enhancing its brand influence.
Similarly, as a staunch supporter of foreign trade, Changzhi Customs has formed an advisory team composed of seasoned experts to delve into enterprises' frontlines. From system refinement to operational enhancements, it provide comprehensive, multi-level guidance to help enterprises achieve AEO certification.
