North China's Shanxi province is focusing on creating an industrial cluster and innovative ecosystem for "5G + industrial internet", which will drive innovation and development to a broader scope and higher standard.

The province will deploy 5G-A networks, systematically advance 10-gigabit optical network access capabilities, and continue to enhance connectivity and upgrade signal in Shanxi. To establish a solid digital foundation for "5G + industrial internet", Shanxi plans to construct 6,000 new 5G base stations.

The province will employ the "Connecting Shanxi" industrial internet resolution system, fully integrate China's Computing Power Platform (Shanxi) into the "Northern Computing Power Service Corridor", and promote the integration of "5G + industrial internet" into various parks and industrial clusters.

Shanxi also aims to develop 20 "5G + industrial internet" application scenarios and set up 10 Shanxi-branded 5G factories, creating an innovative landscape with distinct Shanxi characteristics.

The province will continuously enhance key information infrastructure security capabilities to effectively prevent and resolve major risks and ensure high-level security for high-quality development.
