Deputies to the third session of the 14th Shanxi Provincial People's Congress and political advisors to the third session of the 13th Shanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) arrived on Jan 15 to register for the upcoming two sessions.

Throughout the two sessions, they will highlight grassroots voices and public concerns, discuss reports, offer suggestions, and contribute to Shanxi's high-quality development.

Staff members guided deputies and political advisors to the check-in sites, where they signed in and collected materials. This ensured thorough preparation for the commencement of the two sessions.

"This is my third time attending the Shanxi Provincial People's Congress, and I'm thrilled!" expressed Wen Yaling, a deputy and vice-president of Yuanqu County People's Hospital. Working in the medical field, she will focus on grassroots healthcare topics this year.

Wei Hongyu, a member of CPPCC Shanxi Committee and director of the Xindatan village committee in Shanyin county, continues to prioritize rural industrial development. "My proposal for this session is to use the Dragon Boat Festival folk culture to cultivate a livelihood industry."

Deputies and political advisors have pledged to fulfill the people's expectations during the two sessions, bringing grassroots voices and public aspirations to the forefront and offering valuable insights and strategies for Shanxi's development.

The third session of the 14th Shanxi Provincial People's Congress will begin on Jan 17, and the third session of the 13th CPPCC Shanxi Committee commences on Jan 16.
