The First China-France Theatre Culture Festival, co-hosted by Shanxi Museum and the French Borderless Art Forum, recently concluded in Lyon, France.

The festival was both an artistic feast and an academic exchange event, aiming to promote in-depth cultural exchange and understanding between China and France through drama.

Focusing on "Chinese Opera Culture", the festival showcased the rich and unique charm of Shanxi's local opera and cultural heritage to French audiences through a series of colorful activities.

During the festival, Shanxi Museum presented a bilingual guide video introducing the historical background of China-France diplomatic relations and the importance of cultural exchange. The video showcased the magnificent layout and exquisite exhibits of the "Homeland of Opera" exhibition hall through aerial shots and close-ups.

The festival included experts and artists from different Chinese provinces, as well as local cultural scholars and artists from France. Through lectures, seminars, and workshops, they discussed the history, classic works, and performing arts of Chinese opera.

As one of the festival's main organizers, Shanxi Museum not only provided rich exhibits and professional explanations, but also promoted educational cooperation with French universities and schools, extending the promotion of dramatic culture to a broader audience. This enhanced the museum's global visibility and influence, building a solid bridge for cultural exchange between the people of China and France.
