The Shanxi Province New Generation Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence Industry Promotion Conference and Project Roadshow took place in Shanghai on Nov 6, with over 150 guests from North China's Shanxi province and Shanghai participating.

The event aimed to strengthen cooperation with industry leaders, universities, research institutions, and investment institutions domestically and internationally, promote the landing of technology and high-quality projects in Shanxi, and achieve mutual benefits through Shanxi and Shanghai collaboration.

The event consisted of three sessions: an industry promotion, a project roadshow, and a signing event. During the industry promotion session, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shanxi Province introduced the new-generation information technology and artificial intelligence industry's policy system, industry foundation, market prospects, and innovation ecosystem.

Five projects with high technological content, broad application scenarios, and promising implementation prospects in the Yangtze River Delta region were selected for demonstration during the roadshow. The themes included "Smart Mine Unmanned Operation Solutions", "High-Fidelity AI Imaging Platform" and "Artificial Intelligence Virtual Robots".

Representatives from investment institutions, industry associations, and universities within and outside the province were invited to serve as evaluation experts and select the "Most Valuable Investment Award" and the "Most Innovative Technology Award".

Seven investment cooperation projects were signed during the signing session, with a total investment of 1.93 billion yuan ($268.67 million). These projects involve industries such as new-generation information technology, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and smart parks.
