The 6th Global Jin-Merchantry Forum and the 2024 Industry Association and Chamber of Commerce Service High-Quality Development Conference were held in Shanghai on Nov 3.

The forum aims to promote the high-quality development of industry associations and chambers of commerce services, endorse Shanxi province's business culture, and unite Shanxi merchants' forces.

This conference, one of the supporting activities of the Shanxi delegation at the 7th China International Import Expo, was attended by over 300 key industry associations and chamber of commerce leaders. These included presidents and secretaries of Shanxi chambers of commerce, Shanxi entrepreneurs in the Yangtze River Delta region, private entrepreneurs from the province, and representatives from various sectors.

During the event, the "Shanxi Province Social Organization Development Report 2024" blue book was released, several chambers of commerce presidents and representatives held roundtable discussions on the development of Shanxi business worldwide, and economist Xu Hongcai gave a lecture on "China's economic trends and new opportunities for the private economy".

The conference also included a Shanxi-themed promotion event, the opening ceremony of the Sydney sub-forum of the 6th Global Jin-Merchantry Forum in Shanghai, and the Shanxi-Shanghai Hospitals Innovation and Development Summit. Through one main event, one theme promotion event, and five special activities, the forum and conference showcased Shanxi's industrial advantages, business environment, and development trends.
