In recent years, North China's Shanxi province has focused on promoting the deep integration of technological and industrial innovation, continuously enhancing the overall efficiency of the innovation system, and achieving new progress in the province's technology innovation work.

The province has implemented 71 major science and technology projects and 400 key provincial R&D programs, making significant progress in energy technology revolution, advanced coal production capacity enhancement, and traditional coal-fired power unit transformation.

Additionally, Shanxi has prioritized the construction of innovation platforms. Three national key laboratories have been successfully restructured, and the Shanxi Research Institute of Huairou Laboratory has officially started operations.

Furthermore, Shanxi has established six national-level and six provincial-level technology transfer institutions, one comprehensive test base, and 20 specialized test bases. Over 350 technical managers have been trained to improve the technology transfer and transformation support system.

In the context of comprehensive rural vitalization, Shanxi has promoted four major technology special projects focusing on organic dryland farming, high-quality agriculture, farmland protection, and seed industry vitalization.

The province has implemented talent support programs and solved various technical challenges in cultivating premium products such as hairy crabs, salmon, dragon fruit, and Yulu fragrant pears, expanding the reach of Shanxi's specialty products.

Shanxi will continue to reform the technology system and mechanism, accelerate the construction of a comprehensive innovation support system, and develop new quality productive forces.
