The "International Insights into China" event, with journalists and students from countries such as Mongolia, Bangladesh, and Kazakhstan as participants, is ongoing from Oct 13 to 19.

The event is guided by the Cyberspace Administration of China's network communication bureau, and co-hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Cyberspace Administration of Shanxi Province, and China Daily Website.

On Oct 16, the international delegation visited Huayan Temple in Datong, Shanxi province.

Huayan Temple is one of the three remaining temples from the Liao Dynasty (1271-1368). It showcases an architectural style with cultural characteristics of the Khitan people, blending with traditional Han craftsmanship. Intricately carved beams and painted rafters highlight the distinct artistic charm of cultural fusion among various ethnic groups in that era.
