The "International Insights into China" event, with journalists and students from countries such as Mongolia, Bangladesh, and Kazakhstan as participants, is ongoing from Oct 13 to 19.

The event is guided by the Cyberspace Administration of China's network communication bureau, and co-hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Cyberspace Administration of Shanxi Province, and China Daily Website.

On Oct 16, the international delegation will visit the Ancient City of Datong in Pingcheng district, Datong, Shanxi province.

The Ancient City of Datong once served as the capital of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534) and a major strategic town during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. Its grand and majestic ancient city walls have experienced thousands of years of historical transformation. The restored ancient city, encircled by a moat, has been revitalized and exudes a timeless charm. It patiently awaits every traveler seeking to explore its history.
