The "Shanxi Brand on the Silk Road" event arrived in London, United Kingdom, on Oct 10. It hosted the Shanxi-UK Trade and Investment Promotion Conference to further advance economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between North China's Shanxi province and the UK.

During their stay in the UK, the Shanxi delegation visited the China-Britain Business Council, where they discussed enhancing mutual exchanges and supporting companies in expanding their markets.

Yuncheng city representatives introduced their advantageous industries and related information at the promotion conference, with representatives from both sides presenting their companies, projects, and products.

Shanxi boasts a strong industrial foundation and a comprehensive and advanced industrial system. Its industrial sectors include modern coal chemical engineering, optoelectronics, synthetic biology, new materials, energy conservation, environmental protection, finance, and modern logistics. Jack Perry, chairman of the 48 Group Club, highlighted in his speech that Shanxi offers promising prospects for British companies in clean energy technology, industrial equipment, and high-tech agriculture.

British enterprises can contribute expertise in energy efficiency, financial services, research, and service trade, while Shanxi provides cutting-edge solutions in mining, heavy industry, and new materials.
