As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, Shanxi province's "Chinese-style night tours" centered around moon-viewing culture have become a hot trend in culture and tourism consumption.

For many visitors in Shanxi who don't venture far, the Jueshan Scenic Area in Jincheng, renowned as the "first mountain for moon viewing", is an excellent choice. Mengshan Mountain, Mianshan Mountain, and Yanmen Pass are also ideal for moon viewing.

This Mid-Autumn Festival, the Jueshan Scenic Area will launch an event entitled "Full Moon at Jueshan, Happy Mid-Autumn". The activities will include a stargazing forum, a moon-worshipping ceremony, a poetry gathering, and a Mid-Autumn arts evening.

The Hongtong Dahuaishu Scenic Area will host an event themed "Our Festival, Mid-Autumn". This will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere of the full moon and enjoy traditional mooncakes provided by the scenic area.

Many tourists also opt to "Travel Shanxi with Wukong", delving into the beauty of Shanxi's ancient architecture.

Riding the wave of Black Myth: Wukong, scenic spots across the province have prepared travel guides for visitors. Museums in Taiyuan have extended opening hours and recruited cultural volunteers to provide tailored, high-quality services. They are also offering expert-led tours in multiple languages.

"To provide better services for visitors, we have introduced three 'Travel Shanxi with Wukong' premium tour group routes and are seeing a surge in visitor inquiries," said Li Gaochao, assistant general manager of Shanxi Baohua International Travel. "These tour groups accommodate two to six people and cover most of the games' locations."
