This year marks the 52nd anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between China and Mexico. Over the past five decades, China and Mexico have expanded cooperation in trade, agriculture, education, healthcare, and energy. For several years, China has been Mexico's second-largest global trading partner, while Mexico remains China's second-largest trading partner in Latin America.
In his speech, Mexican Ambassador to China Jesús Seade highlighted China's commitment to energy transformation over the past decade and hoped that the forum would serve as a platform to deepen bilateral development and cooperation.
The forum held thematic meetings and roundtable discussions focused on the "Implementation of Public Policies for Energy Transformation" and "Innovation and Investment in Low-Carbon Energy". During these discussions, Mexican representatives engaged in in-depth exchanges with Shanxi officials, experts, and business leaders, sharing experiences and strategies to strengthen cooperation and promote energy transformation.
