On the afternoon of Sept 9, the 2024 Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum (TELC) hosted its roundtable dialogue. Tang Dengjie, secretary of the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee, delivered a speech, while Jin Xiangjun, governor of Shanxi Provincial Government, presided over the event. Diplomats from nine countries and representatives from Shanxi's sister provinces and states also participated in the roundtable dialogue.

Tang emphasized that promoting global energy sector cooperation is a common goal for all participants. He sincerely hopes that through the TELC forum, countries and regions can engage in exchanges on global energy transformation trends, China's initiatives, and Shanxi's practices. The forum aims to facilitate technical consultations, project promotions, and industrial cooperation, providing new opportunities for all involved.
