Jin Xiangjun meets TELC forum guests

Jin Xiangjun, deputy secretary of the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee and governor of Shanxi Provincial Government, met with attendees of the 2024 Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum (TELC) on Sept 9.
The guests were from central government-owned enterprises, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and energy-rich provinces. Among them were Wang Shudong, chairman of China National Coal Group, and Wang Haihuai, general manager of China Communications Construction.
Jin welcomed and thanked the guests for attending the forum on behalf of the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee and the Shanxi Provincial Government. He introduced the province's high-quality development and modernization efforts, noting that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the "Four Revolutions, One Cooperation" energy security strategy, which Shanxi is fully implementing. The province is optimizing industrial and spatial layouts and accelerating the construction of a new energy system and a modern industrial system to strengthen the comprehensive energy reform. This will lead to continuous economic improvement and increased transformation momentum.
The TELC forum is a globally influential platform for high-level dialogue, result announcements, and international cooperation in the energy sector. Jin hoped this event would deepen industrial connections, trade cooperation, and project collaborations. He emphasized Shanxi's commitment to creating a first-class business environment, fostering mutual advantages and joint development.
Wang Shudong and Wang Haihuai praised Shanxi's achievements in ensuring national energy security and promoting high-quality development. They valued the TELC forum, congratulating its successful organization, and expressed their intent to seize development opportunities in Shanxi, employing the forum to advance cooperative projects and contribute to the province's modernization.
In the afternoon, Jin signed a memorandum of understanding with the representative of Khentii Province, Mongolia, to develop friendly inter-provincial relations.
