The 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) kicked off on Sept 8 in Xiamen, Fujian province. Over the four-day event, North China's Shanxi province will showcase multiple enterprises, highlighting Shanxi's unique charm through a blend of exhibitions and negotiations.

The province plans to focus on green tourism, health, and high-end technical equipment. It will emphasize advanced technologies and innovative developments while promoting Shanxi's commitment to health and sustainability.

This year's exhibition area, covering 160 square meters, features a multifunctional layout that includes a visual and video display zone and a dedicated meeting area. It is designed to create an integrated exhibition and discussion space, improving interactions and negotiations.

The province will host the Shanxi-Fujian Consumer Goods Industry and Financial Capital Cooperation Exchange Conference to further strengthen economic and trade cooperation between Shanxi and Fujian. Investment promotion agencies and enterprises from various regions will introduce their projects and products to domestic and international participants, boosting their brand visibility.

This year's CIFIT, themed "Investment Connecting the World", features Hungary as the guest country of honor and Zhejiang province as the guest province of honor. The event has attracted participants from 119 countries and regions, with approximately 80 percent of representatives from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
