The 2024 China Xinghuacun International Alcoholic Drinks Expo started on Aug 21 in Fenyang city, North China's Shanxi province, attracting over 420 alcohol brands and companies from more than nine countries and regions, including the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Chile, and Spain.
The expo, which spans 30,000 square meters, boasts eight zones showcasing products from numerous renowned liquor brands. These include national leaders such as Moutai, Wuliangye, and Yanghe, along with major brand enterprises and alcohol equipment manufacturers from the Lyuliang production region.
Nearly 20 activities are planned during the expo, including the Xinghuacun Alcohol and Poetry Festival, Shanxi Fenyang Food Festival, World Winery Future Development Conference, and the China Alcohol Industry Intellectual Property Conference. These events aim to promote the integrated growth of the Xinghuacun alcohol and tourism sector, driving market development and social engagement.
In recent years, Fenyang has dedicated efforts to bolster the professional town for producing Xinghuacun fenjiu, a unique and famous traditional Chinese alcohol. It has actively expanded the baijiu industry chain and channeled resources towards the town's expansion. Through promotional initiatives in places like Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, and Guangzhou, the city has effectively promoted Xinghuacun's alcoholic drinks, cuisine, scenery, and culture, enhancing brand reputation and influence for both the town and its signature light-aroma baijiu.
