The "Discover the Beauty of Shanxi" Tourism Discoverers Conference (TDC) was held in Datong, North China's Shanxi province, on Aug 3.

The event was organized by the Culture and Tourism Department of Shanxi Province in collaboration with the Datong bureau of culture and tourism and Tongcheng Travel, and attracted experts, scholars, industry representatives, and travel influencers from the domestic and international tourism sectors.

Focusing on the theme of deep integration between cultural heritage and the tourism industry, the event featured a variety of activities, including multi-party exchanges, activity initiation, launch ceremonies and innovative product showcases. The aim was to leverage diverse business formats to build a new ecosystem of industry and finance synergies and promote the development of Shanxi's culture and tourism industry.

During the event, the "Tongcheng Global Destination Plan - Shanxi Station" was launched, unveiling three major tourism portals, unique travel routes, popular attractions and the Shanxi culture and tourism discount offers, as well as providing a summer travel guide to people across the web.

To further incentivize travel bloggers to promote Shanxi, five travel influencers were granted the title of "Shanxi Beauty" Discovery Ambassadors of Tongcheng Travel, continuing to enhance Shanxi's culture and tourism visibility and spearheading the exploration of new trends in Shanxi.

Through this event, Shanxi collaborated with Tongcheng Travel to explore resource advantages, enhance tourism quality, optimize operational models, and establish a platform for tourism exchange and cooperation, inviting global travel enthusiasts to come and discover the beauty of Shanxi.
