Shanxi (Taiyuan) Digital Economy Scenario Innovation Center launched
The Shanxi (Taiyuan) Digital Economy Scenario Innovation Center was officially launched in Taiyuan, North China's Shanxi province, on July 28.
This is the first government-led, privately-invested, and socially-participated scenario innovation center in China. Its establishment aims to deepen the integration of the digital economy and the real economy, spreading Shanxi's experience and solutions for data development throughout the country.
The center will serve as a platform for product and scenario matching and the fostering of high-quality data enterprises. This will contribute to the formation of a full-industry, province-wide, and multi-domain scenario innovation ecosystem and promote the display, transaction, matchmaking and implementation of data supply and demand.
"The scenario innovation center is an important platform for showcasing the digital economy and promoting the digital transformation of industries," said Wu Wenli, deputy director of the Taiyuan data bureau. The center will focus on enhancing the digital ecosystem, empowering industrial transformation, and fostering the development of new quality productive forces. These efforts will chart a new development path for the digital economy and inject new vigor into the digital development of Taiyuan and the entire province.
According to Ma Shihua, chairman of the Taiyuan Digital Commerce Association, the center will provide systematic, comprehensive and sustainable services in various fields, including industrial manufacturing, culture and tourism, modern agriculture and green and low-carbon development. The center will also act as a bridge for communication, collaboration and innovation in data supply and demand.
