Since its inception in 2013, the expo has become a comprehensive platform for goods trade, investment and promotion, tourism cooperation and cultural exchange.
This year's event features 15 venues, including two South Asian pavilions showcasing the culture and characteristics of India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Bhutan and the Maldives. A total of 26 provinces, cities and districts in China participated in the exhibition.
