The Shanxi Cross-border E-commerce Development Promotion Conference, with the tagline "Connecting the World, Sharing Global Benefits", was jointly held by the Zhongbei Hi-tech Industries Development Zone and Shanxi Zhejiang Enterprise Unite in Taiyuan, North China's Shanxi province, on July 12.

The event aims to promote the integrated development of domestic and foreign trade enterprises in the province, expand overseas sales channels, enhance comprehensive services for cross-border e-commerce, and activate the upstream and downstream industrial chains, thereby promoting higher-level opening up and higher-quality development in the region.

In recent years, with the development of information technologies, new business formats and models like cross-border e-commerce have been growing rapidly, becoming a major trend and highlight in international trade development.

At the conference, representatives from enterprises such as Chuangmao Group and AliExpress gave presentations on topics such as independent websites and international household goods big data. The Cross-border Comprehensive Service Center of the Zhongbei Hi-tech Industries Development Zone, Taiyuan's first one-stop comprehensive service center for enterprises in the region, was also officially established at the conference.

The platform involves talent training, international logistics overseas warehouses, cross-border payment, international intellectual property and brand incubation. It also introduces emerging cross-border e-commerce platforms such as the overseas version of Douyin and Russia's OZON, and helps enterprises recruit foreign trade professionals and develop online sales channels.
