North China's Shanxi province is making significant efforts to promote the deep integration of technological and industrial innovation.

The Shanxi Innovation Valley is a major part of these efforts. Within six months of its establishment, the valley has attracted 91 resident enterprises, making substantial progress in market-oriented operation and innovative research and development applications.

Shanxi Sharknet Measurement and Control Technology Co, an enterprise located in the valley, is set to expand the application of its aerospace communication technology from space to everyday life. Zhang Huixin, the company's general manager, has emphasized that new technologies developed in laboratories must be transformed into products and brought to market if they are to become genuine new quality productive forces.

Shanxi Jiashida Robot Technology Co, a local enterprise specializing in window-cleaning robots, has achieved national recognition as a "Specialized and Innovative Little Giant" enterprise through continuous innovation. Its service robots have formed a complete product line in the field of household cleaning, with markets spanning over 50 countries and regions including the United States, Germany, South Korea, Japan, Russia, Israel and Thailand.

Shanxi Gengyang New Energy Co has mastered the core technology of carbon fiber production, achieving a world-leading coefficient of thermal expansion for needle coke. It is also the only in the country to have built a pilot factory with an annual output of 100 metric tons of carbon fiber raw materials.

These technologies and products exemplify the deepening integration of technological and industrial innovation in Shanxi, as enterprises further strengthen their role as the main drivers of technological innovation.
