Shanxi participates in the Chinese Cultural Exhibition in Khabarovsk, Russia

The Chinese Cultural Exhibition, co-hosted by the Local Cooperation Council of the China-Russia Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development and the Consulate General of China in Khabarovsk, opened in Khabarovsk, Russia on July 3.

Running until Aug 3, the exhibition features hundreds of pieces of Chinese calligraphy, paintings, and handicrafts, and also features screenings of Chinese films.

Shanxi is a Chinese member province of the Local Cooperation Council of the China-Russia Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development. As one of the organizers of the event, the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Shanxi Province has arranged for various cities in the province to participate in the cultural exhibition.

The foreign affairs offices of various cities in Shanxi selected and provided a variety of local cultural and creative products, handicrafts and intangible cultural heritage exhibits for the event, including paper-cuts, embroidered balls, cloth tigers, and fragrant sachets. This offers a unique Shanxi-style cultural feast for the people of Russia.

The cultural exhibition will tell the story and spread the voice of Shanxi, thus further enhancing the Russian people's understanding of the province.
