Cultural relics from Shanxi Museum unveiled in Indonesia

The "Shanxi · See China" overseas promotion exhibition hosted by the Shanxi Museum in Taiyuan, North China's Shanxi province, made its debut alongside related cultural and creative products at the 7th China Trade Fair Indonesia 2024 from June 4 to 7.
As a highly influential Chinese-organized exhibition in Indonesia, the China Trade Fair Indonesia is an important platform for commercial exchanges and cooperation between China and Indonesia. This exhibition received support from more than 30 Indonesian departments, including the Ministry of Investment and the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the number of visitors exceeded 90,000.

The large-scale exhibition was independently curated by Shanxi Museum based on the province's rich local cultural relics and resources. It features over 100 exquisite cultural relics from Shanxi, showcasing the province's important role in several important periods from ancient human development to the formation of Chinese civilization.
At the event, Zhang Jing, director of the cultural and creative development department of Shanxi Museum, introduced to the audience the achievements of Shanxi in different fields such as bronze civilization, ethnic integration, Buddhist stone carvings, opera development, and ancient architecture through promotional brochures and videos. In addition, various books and cultural and creative products from Shanxi Museum were also exhibited.

Moving forward, Shanxi Museum will continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation with domestic and foreign museums by launching more high-quality exhibitions, aiming to build itself into a world-class museum.
