During the activity week, which will last from May 25 to June 1, a series of more than 30 themed activities, including academic reports, public lectures, special exhibitions, social education activities, and live broadcasts for science popularization, will be held at the science popularization institutes in the province's cultural and museum system, so as to showcase the achievements made in developing cultural relics technology in recent years.
"We will take this event as a new starting point to further improve the cultural relics technology innovation platform, gather cultural relics technology innovation talent, and continuously improve the construction of the cultural relics technology innovation system," said Bai Xuebing.
Liu Yan, vice president of the Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology, stated that the establishment of the Shanxi Culture Relics Bureau research base will provide a major platform for academic exchange and scientific research cooperation in the field of cultural relics and archaeology.
After the launch ceremony, the first Shanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Research Project Achievement Exchange and Reporting Conference was held at the Shanxi Archaeological Museum, with multiple museums and institutes, including the Shanxi Museum and Shanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology, in attendance.
