Artwork from the Shanxi International Communication Center made its debut at the Chinese Civilization Exhibition Area of the 2024 Paris Fair, which took place from May 1 to 12.

The short video titled New Scroll of Shanxi was played in a loop at the exhibition area, attracting much attention.

During the exhibition, the Shanxi intangible cultural heritage lihouhu, also known as lihou hand-made cloth tigers, captivated many international visitors. With a history of 2,700 years, the craftsmanship of lihouhu carries the blessings and hopes of the people of Shanxi. It also symbolizes their vigor and bravery.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, coinciding with the 120th anniversary of the founding of the Paris Fair.

At the Chinese Civilization Exhibition Area, nine provinces (autonomous regions) along the Yellow River joined hands to showcase high-quality short videos, distinctive cultural creative products, and intangible heritage craftsmanship, conveying China's voice to the world while also telling the story of the Yellow River.

The leading French media outlet LCI made a special trip to the Chinese Civilization Exhibition Area for a live broadcast. It reported that the Chinese exhibition area at the Paris Fair provided a rich and diverse array of culturally creative masterpieces.
