Shanxi Museum holds exhibition in Florence

The exhibition titled See China through Shanxi and a cultural creative product promotion event held by the Shanxi Museum located in the city of Taiyuan, North China's Shanxi province, debuted at the 88th International Handicraft Exhibition in Florence, Italy, on April 25.
The International Handicraft Exhibition in Florence, Italy, boasts a history of 93 years and is the most prestigious handicraft exhibition in Europe. The 88th exhibition, themed "The Future of Art and Craftsmanship", has attracted over 450 exhibitors from more than 28 different countries and regions.
See China through Shanxi is a large-scale original exhibition independently curated by the Shanxi Museum, leveraging Shanxi's rich local cultural and historical attractions. The exhibition showcases over 100 exquisite cultural relics, highlighting the significant role of Shanxi in various crucial periods from the development of ancient humans to the formation of Chinese civilization.

During the exhibition, the Shanxi Museum also showcases more than 10 series and over 100 exhibition-related cultural creative products designed based on the rich historical and cultural heritage of Shanxi. Among them, the "Soul of Shanxi" series serves as the flagship products of the Shanxi Museum's cultural creative endeavors, focusing on interpreting Shanxi's achievements in different historical periods and fields.
Through the exhibition, Shanxi Museum hopes that more international visitors can see China through the lens of Shanxi and learn about the history and culture of Shanxi and China. In the future, the museum will deepen cultural exchanges and collaborations with domestic and international museums by hosting more high-quality exhibitions, so as to further promote traditional Chinese culture.
