Recently, a legal service platform for overseas Chinese in the Nordic region was jointly established in North China's Shanxi province by the Nordic International Exchange Association and Shanxi Zhong Lv Law Firm.

The platform will appoint professional lawyers to provide public legal services to overseas Chinese in regard to settlement, elderly care, property ownership, rights protection, and investment in the province via online platforms such as WeCom and emails.

Additionally, it will periodically hold online lectures on legal policies as they relate to overseas Chinese and investment project promotion. This will be done to meet the demands for public legal services among overseas Chinese, and to provide strong support for compatriots and overseas Chinese enterprises.

Shanxi will work further to establish legal service mechanisms for overseas Chinese living and working in the province, so as to better safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.
