5 Shanxi scenic areas among top 100 in brand communication power
According to the Meadin Brand Index that was released by commercial property data provider Meadin, five scenic areas in North China's Shanxi province ranked among top 100 5A-level scenic spots in terms of brand communication power in February 2024.
The list compiled and analyzed data from 339 scenic spots based on the MBI index in February, focusing on brand communication power related to internet and mobile internet. MBI utilized four dimensions to craft its index: search index, review index, operational index, and media index.
Data indicated that in early spring, the overall temperature across the country is relatively low, leading to a weaker demand from tourists for natural landscapes. Conversely, there is a higher overall appeal for cultural performances, villages, historical sites, and cultural venues.
In the list, the Ancient City of Pingyao ranked fourth, the House of the Huangcheng Chancellor ranked 14th, the Hukou Waterfall ranked 26th, the Yungang Grottoes rank 30th, and the Hongtong Dahuaishu Ancestral Memorial Garden ranked 43rd.
