Shanxi delegation to NPC submits 5 motions, 270 suggestions

The Shanxi deputies to the National People's Congress (NPC) submitted five motions and made 270 suggestions during the second session of the 14th NPC in Beijing, which ran from March 5 to 11.
The five motions involve formulating laws on public interest litigation, ecological protection, urban and rural community governance, as well as the revision of social insurance laws and construction laws.
Among the suggestions submitted by the Shanxi deputies, 73 are related to science, education, healthcare and sports; 50 involve development and the economy; 41 concern social and public affairs; 37 relate to industry, energy and investment sectors; 24 center on the agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery and water conservancy fields; and 19 involve trade, transportation, culture and tourism.
Additionally, eight of the suggestions submitted by the Shanxi delegation concern national strategy, the Yellow River, cultural relic protection, trade, and coal chemicals.
