The Yongle Palace IP brand launch event was held on Dec 27 at the Yuncheng Museum in Yuncheng, North China's Shanxi province.

The event aimed to showcase the historical heritage, cultural connotations, and fashionable charm of the Yongle Palace IP brand.

Built during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), Yongle Palace in Ruicheng county is the best-preserved Taoist temple in China. It is renowned both domestically and internationally for its exquisite murals, magnificent palace architecture, and profound Taoist culture.

In recent years, Yongle Palace has established a partnership with Civilization Fragments (Beijing) Development Co, an integrated IP content operation service provider. The two sides have incorporated Yongle Palace's cultural elements into the development of cultural creative products, creating a series of fashionable yet traditional products, such as the calendars and badges.

The company has produced a large amount of high-quality short videos on topics such as character interpretation of the palace's murals, mural painting, and the palace's ancient architecture. These videos have been widely disseminated through social networking platforms such as Douyin, Kuaishou, and Xiaohongshu, achieving over 50 million views in less than a year.

During the event, Xi Jiulong, director of the Yongle Palace Mural Protection and Research Institute; Liu Yi, president of Civilization Fragments (Beijing) Development Co; and Ji Zhaohui, vice-president of Marketing for AMD Greater China, unveiled the Yongle Palace Mural Digital Restoration Laboratory.

At the event, Cheng Kun, vice-president of Civilization Fragments (Beijing) Development Co, announced plans to organize a Yongle Palace exhibition as well as a series of cultural exchange activities in Paris, France, in October 2024.
