The Shanxi Post and Telecommunications Museum opened in Zhangchao village of Jinzhong city, North China's Shanxi province, on Nov 10. 

The first museum in Shanxi dedicated to this theme, it features over 1,000 exhibits and more than 2,000 historical photos.

Combining audio and visual presentations as well as precious artifacts, the museum gives visitors a clear understanding of the development of postal services and telecommunications in the province, as well as covering Shanxi's century-old history and local customs.

Additionally, the museum provides various comprehensive educational activities to popularize knowledge of postal and telecommunications technology.
