Showcasing its industrial transformation, notable achievements, and openness to the world, Shanxi province made its presence felt at the 6th China-Arab States Expo in Yinchuan, capital of Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region, on Sept 21-24. 

The Shanxi exhibition area was divided into various sections, including those displaying the province's overall image, 10 major industrial chains, and the achievements of 10 major professional characteristic industrial towns, crafts, brewing products, specialty food, and intelligent manufacturing products by 18 Shanxi-based companies. 

"We hope to use the platform of the China-Arab States Expo to tap into a broader market in Arab countries and spread Shanxi's iron art culture to the world," said Lei Jinfeng, a representative of Jinyifang Cultural Development Co.

This year's expo was held online and offline and attracted more than 10,000 guests from 56 countries and over 1,000 exhibitors. 

It aimed to strengthen cooperation in fields such as the economy and trade, energy, technology, and agriculture, and expand cooperation in green and low-carbon industries, the digital economy, and healthcare between China and Arab countries.
