A delegation from Shanxi province has been showcasing the excellent products and practices of 12 local companies involved in the high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, and new-generation information technology industries, at the 23rd China International Industry Fair that is currently underway in Shanghai.

The delegation introduced the achievements in the development of the province's 10 major key industrial chains, 10 major characteristic professional industrial towns, digital economy, and relevant policies about investment promotion, aiming to help more companies in the province expand their international markets and promote the "Made in Shanxi" brand. 

This year's fair, which runs until Sept 23, is co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. 

It features nine professional exhibition areas at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) and has attracted 2,800 companies from 30 countries and regions worldwide, with nearly 1,000 new products and technologies unveiled on site.
