North China's Shanxi province recently announced its first demonstration zones of cultural, health, and wellness tourism. 

Below are the first nine selected destinations: Senqi Town in Taiyuan, Tanghe Grand Canyon Tourism Resort, Jinshatan Health and Wellness Center, Yunzhonghe scenic area, Xiaoxigou Rural Cultural Tourism and Wellness Complex, Happy Taihang Valley Cultural Tourism Complex in Huguan county, Baimasi Mountain high-end health and wellness resort, Yunqiu Mountain scenic area, and Shengtian Lake Town. 

These demonstration zones have distinctive cultural themes, complete services and facilities, a well-functioning service quality management system, and high consumer satisfaction. They gather tourism, rehabilitation and recuperation, cultural entertainment, sports, and leisure businesses, creating significant economic, social, and ecological contributions to local development. 

In the future, Shanxi will continue to promote improving and constructing the 50 demonstration zones of cultural, health, and wellness tourism.
