Shanxi rail authority increases transport capacity in holiday

The China Railway Taiyuan Bureau Group Co in North China's Shanxi province plans to launch another 27 round-trip passenger trains between June 21 and 25 to prepare for the travel rush during the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival holiday from June 22 to 24.
Most travellers are expected to be tourists and those visiting relatives. The company is set to launch 20 temporary round-trip electric multiple unit trains to hot destinations, including Beijing, Tianjin, Datong, Yuncheng, and Lyuliang.
To meet the current diversified travel needs of tourists in its jurisdiction, the company is scheduled to open seven round-trip ordinary-speed trains from Taiyuan to Jiexiu, Datong, Lyuliang and Yuncheng, as well as from Datong to Yongji.
During the holiday, the company promises to further optimize services in major passenger stations, and remind passengers to reasonably arrange travel plans.
