In Shanxi, farmers expect bumper crop of winter wheat

As xiao man, or "grain buds", the eighth solar term of the traditional Chinese solar calendar, started on Sunday, farmers in Yuncheng, Shanxi province, are looking forward to a bumper harvest of winter wheat.

They are busy working in the golden waves of wheat, which form unique landscapes.

Winter wheat planting in the city reaches over 292,666 hectares. The harvest will start in late May.
