Shanxi province recently held a special promotional event dubbed the Shanxi Brand Silk Road Tour in Fuzhou, capital of East China's Fujian province. 

The Shanxi Provincial Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade arranged for 50 enterprises based in Shanxi to display more than 100 kinds of products at the 6th 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Expo. Meanwhile, 10 cities and development zones from Shanxi carried out economic and trade exchange activities in Fuzhou. 

Wang Xiu, vice-president of the committee, said that high-quality products from 10 cities, mainly in the categories of food and beverages, ceramics, intangible cultural heritage, and daily necessities, were promoted at the expo. 

He hoped to use the platform of the expo to better open the window of economic and trade exchanges between Shanxi and RCEP countries, and let more merchants gain a deeper understanding of Shanxi.
