An online international event inviting overseas bloggers to take a tour of Taiyuan was launched in the provincial capital of North China's Shanxi province on April 24.

Influential bloggers from Russia, Syria, the Philippines, the United States, Vietnam, South Africa, and Indonesia attended the launch ceremony. 

Through visits to places such as Jinci Museum, Jinyang Bridge over the Fenhe River, Jinshang Museum, Bell Tower Street, the bloggers will explore the 2,500-year-old culture of Taiyuan, appreciate the remains of ancient buildings, and learn about local ecological improvements.

They will showcase Taiyuan's economic development, cultural prosperity, beautiful environment, and happy lives of residents through words, photos and videos.

At the launch ceremony, the Taiyuan International Communication Center was established. 

The center will build a platform for international information publicity of Taiyuan, social development and promotion, international communication and exchange through online and offline activities, online live broadcast, and multilingual promotional events.
