The cross-border tax handling service for non-resident enterprises was launched online at the Shanxi Electronic Taxation Bureau on April 6.

If an overseas enterprise transfers equity that a domestic enterprise needs, it can be given a unique identity code by registering abroad through this service, and handle tax-related matters at any electronic taxation bureaus in 36 provinces and municipalities across China.

The service provides a simple and smooth cross-border bilingual tax handling channel. For non-resident enterprises that cannot pass domestic real-name authentication, this service allows them to easily complete certification through email registration, certificate uploads and manual verification, meeting the personalized tax handling needs of global taxpayers.

A smart tax calculator that automatically calculate taxes and provides declaration services has also been designed to facilitate the cross-border tax process of non-resident enterprises.
