Han Taifan, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shanxi Provincial Government, met with a delegation from the Australian Embassy in China on March 7 in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province. 

Han briefly introduced the history and culture of Shanxi, its related energy enterprises, and reviewed the history of friendly cooperation between Shanxi and South Australia, a state in Australia. 

He hoped to take this opportunity to invite officials and entrepreneurs from the Australian Embassy in China to participate in the Taiyuan Energy Low-carbon Development Forum to discuss cooperation in the field of low-carbon energy with local Shanxi enterprises. 

At the same time, it is hoped that Shanxi and South Australia can restart friendly relations and promote exchanges and cooperation in the future.
