Deputies submits 18 motions to Shanxi Provincial People's Congress

The first session of the 14th Shanxi Provincial People's Congress concluded on Jan 16 in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, with 532 deputies attending the closing plenary.
The plenary voted to pass the resolutions on the work report of Shanxi Provincial Government, the implementation of the economic and social development plan in 2022 and related plan for 2023, the implementation of the provincial budget in 2022 and related budget for 2023, the work reports of the Standing Committee of Shanxi Provincial People's Congress, Shanxi Provincial Higher People's Court, and Shanxi Provincial People's Procuratorate.
As of 12 am on Jan 13, which was the deadline for deputies to submit motions, the first session of the 14th Shanxi Provincial People's Congress received 18 original motions submitted by more than 10 deputies or delegations, involving legislation and supervision, justice, financial and economic affairs, social construction, education, science, culture, and health, agriculture and rural affairs, urban and rural development.
The session also received 191 suggestions and comments by attending deputies, which will be reviewed and filed accordingly.
