Political advisers to attend annual provincial session

Members of the 13th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Shanxi Committee arrived in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, on Jan 9 to attend the first session of the 13th CPPCC Shanxi Committee which will open on Jan 11. 

The 549 CPPCC Shanxi Committee members will give suggestions and build consensus on the province's economic development plan and people's well-being.

Shen Liping, a provincial political adviser and deputy director of the cultural center of Lingchuan county in Jincheng city, said that in the past year, Shanxi has given strong support to cultural development and in doing so, the cultural enthusiasm of the local residents has increased. Shen will submit a proposal for traditional cultural education among Party members and cadres in the session. 

Zhou Jing, a new CPPCC Shanxi Committee member and senior teacher at Taiyuan No 5 Middle School, has long been concerned about the mental health of foundation education teachers. Zhou will call on the public to care for teachers' psychological health during the session.
