Five people from North China's Shanxi province were included in the list of national expert individuals in elderly services, which was released by the Ministry of Civil Affairs on Nov 18.
Li Ailing from the city of Jincheng, who was born in 1973 and has been devoted to elderly care for seven years, was one of them.

Li has been constantly looking for a suitable development path for home-based elderly care in communities. She has been focused on the concept of community-based, home-based and institutional-supplemented integrated senior care services.
To improve the life of senior residents in later years, Li has made efforts to diversify their diets and regulate their recreational activities during festivals, such as Winter Solstice dumpling feasts, New Year's Day cultural performances, Lantern Festival opera parties, and Spring Festival galas.
Nowadays, more elderly people can spend the remaining years in happiness with the help of community nursing services.
