Six enterprises in Shanxi province were recently shortlisted for the 2022 Fortune China 500 list.

The enterprises include Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co, Daqin Railway Co, Shanxi Coal International Energy Group Co, Shanxi Coking Coal Group Co, Yangquan Coal Industry Co and Wintime Energy Co. 

The highest ranking among them is Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co, which climbed from 171st in 2021 list to 138th this year with revenue of more than 101.4 billion yuan ($15.03 billion). 

The 2022 Fortune China 500 list was compiled by Fortune (Chinese version) in cooperation with CICC Wealth Management Co, and took stock of the performance and achievements of listed Chinese enterprises around the world in 2021. 

The total revenues of the Fortune China 500 reached 62 trillion yuan, while net profits reached 4.7 trillion yuan, both realizing significant growth compared to 2021.
