The Shanxi Jinzhong Vocational Education Forum was held in the city of Jinzhong in North China's Shanxi province on June 27. 

The forum set up three venues in the Netherlands, Shanghai and Jinzhong, respectively. 

Representatives of Jinzhong and the Netherlands gave keynote speeches and interactive exchanges on promoting cooperation in the modern agriculture, cultural tourism, vocational education and creative industries. 

The two sides signed cooperation agreements on vocational education exchanges and cooperation, the establishment of the Beautiful Countryside Friendship Alliance, and the construction of the Pingyao Shanxi Merchants Culture Research Base.

Lian Yaofeng, an official of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shanxi Provincial Government, said that this year is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Netherlands, and he expressed hope that Shanxi and the Netherlands would further their collaboration in more fields.
