Entrepreneurship contest finals begin in Shanxi

The finals of the 2022 Shanxi Spark Project Entrepreneurship Competition began in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, on June 20.

The three-day event was organized by multiple departments of the Shanxi Provincial Government, the Shanxi Disabled Persons' Federation, and the Management Committee of the Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone. 

It is divided into a main contest and a special contest. In the main contest, 58 manufacturing and service industrial projects have qualified for the finals. In the special contest, 36 projects from the youth creativity group, the labor service brand group and the rural vitalization group have been shortlisted for the finals.

There will be 56 award-winning projects in the finals, 12 of which will be recommended for participation in the 5th China Chuangyi Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition.

Outstanding entrepreneurial projects that win first, second and third prizes in the finals will receive 100,000 yuan ($14,966), 80,000 yuan, and 60,000 yuan in financial support, respectively.
